About Studio Elevin

Studio Elevin is a collaboration between artists Elise Martin and Kevin McCoy.  We created Studio Elevin to continue making the things we enjoy, with the hope of getting our art objects into the homes of awesome people. Each piece is made by hand, in small batches. We are continuously experimenting with different materials and techniques, pushing ourselves to create new and innovative art objects.

About the Artists:

Elise Martin and Kevin McCoy are Detroit-based artists, who met as undergraduate students at The College for Creative Studies.  They reconnected when they both became residents at Fortress Studios, an artist-run studio space in the North End neighborhood of Detroit. Together their work celebrates materiality and handcraft.
